It is the future. The takeover of the federal government by Christian fundamentalists has led to civil war. On patrol in the Rocky Mountains, a rebel army squad takes cover in an isolated cabin owned by a former professor who wants to be left alone. The situation is upended when the squad captures an enemy deserter.
