(1/18/2019) - St. George's Day in England, the Morning of the county fair, the local drifting soul and pied piper of chaos Johnny "Rooster" Byron stirs the souls of his countrymen to forego the comforts of modern suburban life and raise their spirits in the countryside. His family want to spend the day with him, thugs want to teach him a lesson, the authorities want rid of him, but Rooster just wants more out of life. Having played on the West End and then to Broadway (and back to the West End), Jerusalem is a darkly comic and modern meditation on the spirit of a nation.

(12/7/2018) - Everyman Theatre's next show in the 2018-2019 season is The Importance of Being Earnest, a light-hearted romantic comedy packed with twists, turns, and witty repartee. Directed by Joseph W. Ritsch Artistic Director of Rep Stage, the tale of worlds turned topsy-turvy with assumed identities lampoons the absurdity of Victorian virtues. The Everyman production showcases a subtext that is as relevant today as it was to its intended 19th-century audience-Wilde's 'bachelor' compatriots-inside jokes abound through subtly scripted details. The play runs December 4 - December 30, 2018.

When, at the last minute, Charley's aunt must cancel her visit, leaving the girls without a chaperone, Jack and Charley quickly convince their friend, Fancourt Babberley, to don a wig, a skirt, and a feminine air.  All seems to be solved, until the real aunt turns up, and hilarity ensues. A classic farce for the whole family!

Dr. Claribel and Miss Etta Cone, daughters of German-Jewish immigrants, could have lived tranquil, appropriate lives as respected Victorian ladies. The unassuming Etta, often overshadowed by her sister, sat demurely among art and literary geniuses of the early twentieth century, while slowly amassing one of world's greatest Modern art collections.
