Photo Flash: First Look at MADAGASCAR - A MUSICAL ADVENTURE at Red Branch Theatre Company

Red Branch Theatre Company (RBTC) closes its 2017 season entitled Mad About You this December with Madagascar - A Musical Adventure. The musical adaptation is based on the hit Dreamworks Animation motion picture by the same name. The production runs at Drama Learning Center, where Red Branch is the professional theatre in residence, from December 8-23. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Madagascar - A Musical Adventure is a larger-than-life theatrical extravaganza that's fun for the whole family. Alex the lion is the main attraction at New York's Central Park Zoo. His best friend, Marty the zebra, lets his curiosity wander past the confines of the zoo's walls. Soon, Alex, Marty and the rest of their animal pals launch into a high-energy caper filled with outlandish characters, adventure, and an infectious pop-filled score that includes "I Like to Move It."

This production marks the first time that a local regional theatre has produced Madagascar - a Musical Adventure. Red Branch produces a family-friendly production every December, and Madagascar continues in that tradition. Many special events will be held in conjunction with the production to encourage families to participate in live performing arts together.
