Recorded at Mercury Cafe in Denver, the intimate performance includes renditions of Rateliff’s “And It’s Still Alright,” “All Or Nothing” and “Mavis,” which appeared on his 2020 solo album, And It’s Still Alright. In addition, Rateliff performed his latest single, “Redemption,” written for and featured in the Apple Original film, Palmer.

The track, released in February as a 7' single (with a b-side cover of Aerosmith's 'Angel,' ft. a guest appearance by their Wicked Cool Records labelmate Jessie Wagner) has been racking up radio play on commercial Active Rock stations around the country.

Filming took place during the pandemic with production closely following Covid-19 protocols. The series was shot throughout the country including historical locations in Jerusalem, Safed, and other cities. 

Cleverly constructed imagery illustrating the song’s narrative accompanies the track, presenting another piece of the aural landscape of Surrounded By Time.

Live From Nowhere is Kelsy’s latest project since the release of her debut album, Missing Person, last fall.
