Laura Heywood is a writer, producer and radio personality originally from San Francisco who has been active in New York media since early 2005. She has received training from the University of Puget Sound and The Actors Point of View, and has studied writing with Susan Blackwell. As a devoted fan of the theatre, she has been quoted by the New York Times and the New York Daily News in articles about Broadway, and has contributed to multiple national radio programs on the subject. Outside the theatrical realm, Laura’s hobbies include aerobic pole dancing, Geocaching, and competitive Skee-ball. Her writing will appear in the upcoming anthology “How I Met Your Motherboard”.
