Tituss Burgess has teamed up with Netflix for a music contest show, according to Variety. 

 Bravo's newest competition series dives into the world of espionage when “Spy Games” premieres on Monday, January 20 at 10:00pm ET/PT. Inspired by the once-secret World War II government program known as “Station S,” in which civilians were assessed and trained to be spies, ten daring individuals come together to compete and attempt to outplay one another in living out the ultimate spy fantasy. Model and martial artist Mia Kang hosts the competition, with real-life intelligence experts assessing the contestants' performances to determine who has what it takes to outwit the game and succeed at one of the world's most mysterious professions.

NBC News' TODAY was the number-one morning show for the November 2019 sweep, topping ABC's “Good Morning America” in the key A25-54 demo. TODAY has now won the key demo for 18 consecutive sweeps. Since the July sweep, TODAY posted the most growth in the key demo, increasing its lead over GMA by a whopping 115%.

Legendary rock band The Who have announced they'll be moving on in 2020 with more tour dates, not quite ready to close the books on their acclaimed MOVING ON! TOUR, which paired Singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist/songwriter Pete Townshend with local symphony orchestras across North America and was hailed bycritics as a once-in-a-lifetime rock experience.  Along with a series of rescheduled shows announced earlier in the month (see complete list of dates below) the band has expanded their 2020 itinerary to include a show on April 21 in Hollywood, FL (Hard Rock Live), April 23 in Cincinnati, OH (BB&T Arena at Northern Kentucky University), and a series of six shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV kicking off on May 5 and running to May 16 (see dates below). Three-time GRAMMY® Award winning multiplatinum band Maroon 5 have announced dates for their upcoming 2020 U.S. tour produced by Live Nation. These upcoming tour dates mark the biggest U.S. shows of the band's career, with the group playing iconic venues such as at Wrigley Field, Fenway Park, Citi Field and Banc of California Stadium. The band's multi-country tour will kick off on May 30th at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, CA. Leon Bridges will appear on all stadium dates. Meghan Trainor will appear on all show dates.

December is a big month for stage to screen adaptations, because the highly-anticipated film, CATS, will be released on December 20! The Spongebob Squarepants musical will also be performed live on Nickelodeon December 7 with the original cast! It was also announced that Follies will be adapted into a feature film by BBC Films and Heyday Films.

Focus Features announced today that it will develop “When I Was You” with Will Packer Productions. The project is based on the upcoming book from suspense novelist Amber Garza, described as a female-driven thriller.  Garza's past works include “The Girl Frozen in Time,” “The Last Time I Saw Her,” and the “Prowl” trilogy.  Will Packer and James Lopez will produce under the Will Packer Productions banner. 

Investor and media executive Robert F.X. Sillerman has passed away at age 71, according to The New York Times. Silverman's brother Michael confirmed his death.

CollegeHumor's DROPOUT today announced that Where in the Eff is Sarah Cincinnati?, the geography trivia game series that will also include physical challenges in an attempt to get a lost friend home from her unwieldy travels, will debut on their subscription-based streaming service on Wednesday, December 18. A new episode will be released every Wednesday through January 22.

ABC Entertainment and Fremantle announced today that actor and comedian Joel McHale is set to return as host of “Card Sharks,” the suspenseful game where a fortune can be won on the turn of a single playing card! The show was recently picked up for a second season and is set to air in 2020.
