On its last original episode of the year, ABC's “Modern Family” grew over the prior week by 5% in Total Viewers (6.0 million vs. 5.7 million) to deliver its most-watched telecast in 10 weeks – since 10/2/19. “Modern Family” ranked No. 1 in the 9:00 p.m. half hour among Adults 18-49 (1.5/8), beating Fox's “Almost Family” (boosted by “The Masked Singer”) by 67% (0.9/4) and NBC's “Making It” (boosted by “The Voice”) by 114% (0.7/4).

Last month, Adiel Mitchell and Shinu released the video for their new collaboration, “Restart”. The video showcases the colorful, fun and carefree side of Adiel that we love. “It has elements of hip hop/rap/trap but it's inspired deeply by the Korean Hip Hop scene as well,” Adiel said.

American rock & roll mainstay Beach Slang will release new album The Deadbeat Bang of Heartbreak City, January 10 on Bridge Nine Records. Their most accomplished album to date, the album features special guest bassist: Tommy Stinson of The Replacements and was mixed by heavy-hitter Brad Wood (Smashing Pumpkins, Liz Phair). Like all Beach Slang albums, it's big, loud, and brash with the eleven tracks all written and arranged by James Alex. The prolific songwriter recently took inspiration from the season to pen a sloppy, rollicking original rock & roll holiday song titled “Jolly Liver”.

This morning, Bear Hands confirm their 31-date tour of the United States. Toronto rock duo Bedouin Soundclash just released their critically-acclaimed fifth studio album MASS via Easy Star Records/Mr. Bongo/Sony Canada. The duo is currently touring with Matisyahu with a handful of northeast dates to close out 2019.

THE ACACIA STRAIN have announced their first set of 2020 tour plans. The band will embark on a headline run, with support from Rotting Out, Creeping Death, Chamber, and Fuming Mouth. Creeping Death will not appear from March 14 through March 18. The tour kicks off on February 28 in New Haven, Connecticut and runs through April 5 in Philadelphia. All dates are below.

Country Music Hall of Famer Charlie Daniels has announced the return of his legendary Volunteer Jam live concert. Headlined by The Charlie Daniels Band, the all-star, multi-artist event is set to take place on Tuesday, September 15 at 7 p.m. / CT at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster this Friday, December 20 at 10 a.m. / CT.

Tim Baker had a big 2019, releasing his debut solo album, Forever Overheard, in spring on Arts & Crafts, heading out on multiple tours across North America.  Today he celebrates it all with a stunning video for “The Eighteen Hole”, shot in Baker's native Newfoundland, directed by Adrian Vieni and Amos Le Blanc.  The video outlines the fractures that can happen in relationships, with Vieni describing the ethos as, “an intimate study of human emotion and connection.  It acts as a time capsule, capturing the profound impact others have on us throughout our lives, and the shared experiences that connect us.  With each moment, we're reminded of the choices we've made, the trajectory we've taken, and people we've met that haave shaped us into who we are today.”
