Now, in Smithsonian Channel's HUMBOLDT: EPIC EXPLORER, historian and bestselling author, Andrea Wulf, follows in his footsteps, delving into Humboldt's landmark insights into human-induced climate change, evolution and continental drift. The documentary will take viewers from Humboldt's fraught childhood near Berlin through his legendary South American expedition – from the Orinoco River to the Andes Mountains, and his one visit to the United States. Western Centuries are set to release their third album, Call the Captain—a tongue-in-cheek reference to the band's lack of hierarchy—on April 3rd via Free Dirt Records. Yesterday, Billboard premiered “Heart Broke Syndrome,” the album's first single and one of the two tracks on Call the Captain which include guest vocals from the King of Broken Hearts himself, Nashville songwriter and entertainer, Jim Lauderdale. “This song, written for a close friend, talks about the recovery process when the sudden loss of someone innocent and dear brings on grief so severe that it induces physical symptoms requiring medical attention,” says Miller, a founding member of roots-jam band Donna The Buffalo and lead vocalist on “Heart Broke Syndrome.” “The last verse tries to project some hope; that our community of family and friends can help provide strength to get through the dark time.” Fans can hear “Heart Broke Syndrome” here and pre-order Call the Captain here.

The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and CBC today confirmed the final phase of artists set to perform at The 2020 JUNO Awards Broadcast, hosted by Alessia Cara. Québecois neoclassical pianist Alexandra Stréliski, R&B and rap artist Ali Gatie, acclaimed singer-songwriter City and Colour, Indigenous artist iskwē, rising country singer Meghan Patrick and bluegrass ensemble The Dead South will take the stage for this year's biggest night in Canadian music. They will be joining Daniel Caesar, Lennon Stella, The Glorious Sons and Tory Lanez along with host Alessia Cara. As well, in her first appearance at The JUNO Awards since 2013, Canadian icon, Anne Murray will return to induct Jann Arden into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah writer and stand-up comedian Josh Johnson is set to commence production on his first one-hour stand-up special and will be returning to the city where he started his comedy career: Chicago. Trevor Noah Presents: Josh Johnson will be taping at The Laugh Factory (3175 N. Broadway) at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, April 4. The special is set to premiere in 2020 on Comedy Central.

Nickelodeon is bringing the original SpongeBob SquarePants voice cast to Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years, the brand-new animated spinoff of the beloved hit series. Kid rapper and pint-sized powerhouse Young Dylan will join theNickelodeon family with the premiere of the brand-new live-action series, TylerPerry's Young Dylan, on Saturday, Feb. 29, at 8:30 (ET/PT).Executive produced, directed and written by Perry, the series follows a family whose world is turned upside down when their nephew, Young Dylan (Dylan Gilmer), an aspiring hip-hop star, moves in unannounced. MichelleSneed is also an executive producer, with Will Areu and Mark E. Swinton serving as producers.The series is currently in production at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Ga.

Nickelodeon is expanding the world of the number-one kids' series, Henry Danger, with the launch of Danger Force, a brand-new original live-action spinoff premiering Saturday, March 28, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). Created and executive produced by Christopher J. Nowak (Henry Danger, Sam & Cat), the new series stars two of the most beloved characters from Henry Danger, 'Ray/Captain Man' (Cooper Barnes) and 'Schwoz' (Michael D. Cohen), and introduces four new superheroes-in-training as they team up to fight crime in their town of Swellview. Danger Force (13 episodes) is produced by Barnes and Jace Norman (Henry Danger), and production for the series is currently underway.

Nickelodeon is taking the misadventures of Big Nate from page to screen with an all-new animated TV series based on the best-selling children's books written and drawn by acclaimed author and cartoonist Lincoln Peirce. The eponymous 26-episode series follows Nate, a precocious 11-year-old boy, and his best friends as they navigate sixth grade with humor and style. Big Nate will be produced by Nickelodeon in Burbank, Calif.

Nickelodeon is literally bringing to life the popular animated characters from its Emmy Award-winning The Loud House with the greenlight of an all-new original live-action holiday TV movie: The Loud House: A Very Loud Christmas! (working title). Casting is currently underway for the feature-length TV movie, which will begin production this summer and is set to premiere in the fourth quarter of this year.

Nickelodeon is setting off into new territory with the greenlight of The Astronauts (working title), a brand-new, live-action series following a group of kids who embark on the adventure of a lifetime when they are mistakenly launched into space. Marking Nickelodeon's first production with Imagine Kids+Family, The Astronauts (10 episodes) is currently in production in Vancouver, Canada, with a premiere slated for this summer.
