On Monday, May 24, John Tartaglia will host the grand finale of a fundraiser benefiting the Quality Services for the Autism Community (QSAC). The benefit, 'Got Talent?' is a spin-off of the popular TV show of the same name. 'Got Talent?' will be held at the Times Square Art Center. Joining Tartaglia are judges Rachel Hoffman, Leslie Jordan, and Dr. Ruth Westheimer.

On Saturday, May 22, Nickelodeon will host a brand new event entitled, 'Nickelodeon Mega Music Fest'; according to people.com. Hosted by actor John Leguizamo, the concert will take place at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Nick Jr. preschool characters including Dora the Explorer and The Fresh Beat Band will perform alongside music sensations Colbie Caillat, Wyclef Jean and The Roots.

Wayne Brady, current host of the CBS game show, 'Let's Make a Deal', might soon be headed back to the stage. Fortunately for Brady, the long-running show continues to be a hit with viewers. The comic actor was last seen on Broadway in 2004, where he played Billy Flynn in CHICAGO. Additionally, Brady is slated to star in the Hollywood Bowl's production RENT (August 6-8), alongside Neil Patrick Harris ('How I Met Your Mother').

It has been quite a year for director/choreographer Marcia Milgrom Dodge, who was recently nominated for Tony Award for her direction of the Broadway revival of RAGTIME last fall. A workhorse by admittance, Dodge has left herself little time to celebrate, as she finishes prep for the Reprise Theatre Company's production of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, which opens tomorrow May 12 and runs thru May 23 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse.

Creative Capital, an Arts Writers Grant Program, heads into their second decade with over $8 million of grants distributed to fund artists' projects. Since 1999, more than 40 projects have premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Additionally, the organization's grant recipients have achieved 7 MoMa premieres, as well as several presented works at the Kennedy Center for the Arts, Tate Modern, the Venice Biennale, the Public Theater, and Broadway.

Betty White hysteria is in full-force. Although White poked fun of the Facebook group pushing for her to host Saturday Night Live, the tactic proved successful. Two other Facebook groups have ensued following her May 8th SNL appearance. The first of the two, 'Betty White Must Host 2010 Emmys!' has already hit 700 members. The second Facebook fan page, 'Getting Betty White to Host The Academy Awards' is growing fast with over 11,000 supporters.

Residents of Tempe, Arizona will have the opportunity to watch the Tony Awards LIVE, at an Official Viewing Party on Sunday, June 13. The event will take place on Arizona State University at ASU Gammage, one of the largest university-based presenters of performing arts in the world. The viewing party and black-tie event is made possible thanks to Tony Award Productions.

The Manhattan School of Music will present an honorary Doctoral Degree in Musical Arts to Angela Lansbury at its May 14th graduation ceremony. The commencement will take place at Riverside Church at 2 pm. Robert Sirota, the school's President, will bestow the honor onto Lansbury.

On Wednesday, May 19th, students from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts presents 'Arts and Technology Night'. Students will transform Kenilworth studios into three floors of performance, projection, interactive art, sound and digital media installations to see, experience and investigate. This student-run event is free and open to the public.

'Precious' star, Gabourey Sidibe is among the many stars putting GLEE at the top of their wish list. The 26-year-old is a huge a fan of the show and would love to guest star, according to People.com. On her recent SNL hosting gig, Gabourey surprised viewers by showcasing her singing chops. Her favorite character? Merecedes, played by Sidibe's real-life friend, Amber Riley.

On Monday, June 7, at 6:30 pm, Red Bull Theater will honor F. Murray Abraham, Michael Stuhlbarg, Howard Owens, and The Angelo Patri Middle School at their 'Running of the Bulls' benefit.

On Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 8pm, Natalie Merchant will perform at the Merriam Theater of the University of the Arts. This appearance is part of her nationwide tour in support of her new album Leave Your Sleep. The tour will be Merchant's first major outing in seven years. Merchant and her eight-piece band will perform new material as well as favorites from throughout her career.

IN + OUT RECORDS, one of Europe's independent jazz labels, announced today, May 6, that there will now be a U.S. National distribution through the Allegro Music Group. Scheduled new releases for the distribution include Billy Cobham, Odean Pope, Sun Ra and James Blood Ulmer.

On Thursday, May 13, John Lindberg will perform two shows at The Stone. The first performance, starting at 8 pm, will feature a solo bass performance by Lindberg. Then, at 10 pm, Don Davis and Kevin Norton accompany him to create 'John Linberg's Tripolar'.

Sir Andrew Davis will conduct the New York Philharmonic in an all-French program comprising Berlioz's Les Francs-juges Overture; Chausson's Poeme de l'amour et de la mer, with mezzo-soprano Susan Graham as soloist; and Saint-Saens's Symphony No. 3, Organ, with Philharmonic organist Kent Tritle as soloist, Thursday, June 3, 2010, at 7:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, June 4-5, at 8:00 p.m.
