Today, April 29, Bailiwick Chicago's Executive Director, Kevin Mayes, announced that their musical revue titled, SHOW US YOUR LOVE, will be revived for a one-night only benefit performance at the Skokie Theatre On Sunday, May 23 at 7:30pm.

SHOW US YOUR LOVE is produced by Julie Burt Nichols, a native of Skokie, alumnus of Niles North High School and current resident of Morton Grove. "I am thrilled to bring Bailiwick Chicago's inaugural production to my hometown. The superior fine arts training I received at Niles North is the foundation for the work I'm doing with Bailiwick Chicago today. I couldn't be happier to share SHOW US YOUR LOVE with the residents of Skokie and the North Shore," said Nichols.

Of SHOW US YOUR LOVE, Venus Zarris (ChicagoStageReview.com) writes, "Bailiwick Chicago infuses new life and new love into Chicago's musical theater scene with their spectacular production of SHOW US YOUR LOVE! It is hard to imagine that one little…musical review can have so much impact, but SHOW US YOUR LOVE packs more crowd-pleasing moments…than many musicals deliver in an entire run."

Paul W. Thompson (BroadwayWorld.com) says, "What's not to love?...If you like musicals…and if you like getting to know the performers and the company that may well help shape musical theater in Chicago's off-Loop community in the foreseeable future, get thee to SHOW US YOUR LOVE. These are experienced professionals, doing work they love...You will learn, you will feel, you will revel. Love is being shown."

SHOW US YOUR LOVE celebrates love and relationships, featuring both comic and dramatic selections from some of Broadway and Off-Broadway's very best, including HAIR, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, PIPPIN, FLOYD COLLINS and BROOKLYN THE MUSICAL. Audience members will have an opportunity to "show us their love" by informally voting for their favorite shows, which will influence Bailiwick Chicago's show selection process for future seasons. Cast members from Bailiwick's upcoming show, Elton John and Tim Rice's AIDA, will round out the evening with a few numbers from this highly anticipated summer production.

This revue will play one-night only at the Skokie Theatre, 7924 Lincoln Ave, Skokie. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and are available at www.skokietheatre.com or by calling (847) 677-7761. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. A pre-show reception will be held in the lobby at 6:30 pm. For more information on the show and Bailiwick Chicago, visit www.bailiwickchicago.com.
