Bluegrass Junction is a dance work choreographed by Jennifer Hart that celebrates Americana folk dance traditions including square dancing, buck-and-wing, clogging, jigs, and reels, drawing on European, African, and Native American roots. The production features live music by international singer and songwriter Tim Eriksen and Austin-based Wayside Bluegrass, whose members include Jon Lundbom on banjo, Bo Tyler on guitar and vocals, Everett Wren on fiddle, and Kyle Kline on bass. The work explores the cycle of life, emphasizing friendship, community, and joy, and reflects on the tribulations and transformations communities have faced in recent years.
