Director & Adapter
ADAM ADOLFO (Director/Production Designer) is a producer, stage director, choreographer, and designer, having directed Shakespeare, musicals, opera, and staging several world premiere plays across the country. He was honored with a Fort Worth Weekly VISIONARY AWARD for his outstanding contributions to the Artistic Community in Tarrant County. Mr. Adolfo is the first and only performing arts professional to receive this distinction. Formerly the Executive Director for Artes de la Rosa Cultural Center for the Arts and mastermind behind its 5-Year American Classics Initiative, and the Managing Artistic Director of The Living Opera, Adam Adolfo also served as the General Manager for the Award-Winning Weathervane Playhouse and as a Production Associate at the Arizona Theatre Company. A graduate of Stephen F. Austin University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Theatre, he studied with the Texas Shakespeare Festival and was recently nominated for Outstanding Director of a Play in the 2026 Austin Theatre Critics Awards for his work on Austin Rainbow Theatre’s production of Sagittarius Ponderosa.
