The Fern is excited to present William Shakespeare's most famous tragedy, Hamlet, starring an All Female Cast. Hamlet continues The Fern's Classically Female Series which explores classical plays utilizing all female casts.

Hamlet's father, the King, has mysteriously died and his uncle Claudius has married Hamlet's mother and transformed Denmark into his ideal society leaving Hamlet on the fringe.

Performances of Hamlet will be at the Backstage Theatre at 7 Stages Theatre 1105 Euclid Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307

Hamlet has a preview on October 9th and opens Friday, October 10th and runs Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturday evenings at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm through October 26th.

There will be 2 special industry nights, Monday, October 13th at 8pm and Wednesday October 22 at 8pm.

Hamlet is directed by The Fern Theatre's Co-Artistic Director Jessica Fern Hunt and stars: Stephanie Willis, Jennifer Alice Acker, Josie Burgin Lawson, Erin Considine, Jennifer Lee, Mary Ruth Ralston, and Kirstin Calvert.

Alyssa Gentry serves as Stage Manager and Jennie Seaman serves as Assistant Stage Manager. Set Design by Kris Pilcher and Lighting design by William Joel Coady.

Ages: 16 and up due to adult Shakespearian violence and same sex kissing
