AMERICAN BUFFALO Opens Tonight at Newnan Theatre Company

Don, owner of a junk shop, has sold a buffalo nickel to a coin collector for only $90.00. He regrets the sale, believing that the coin is worth much more. So he and his two buddies, Teach and Buddy, plan to steal the coin back. The story is ostensibly about a burglary, but the real center of interest is the way the characters deal with each other when their plans start to fall through.
GET's ALMOST HEAVEN to Return to Chattahoochee Nature Center, 7/23-8/8

Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, is excited to announce a unique partnership with the Chattahoochee Nature Center that will bring back the wildly popular GET production of Almost Heaven, John Denver's America for a very limited run. Performances will run Thursdays through Saturdays from July 23rd through August 8th of 2015 at the Chattahoochee Nature Center's Ben Brady Pavilion, 9135 Willeo Rd., Roswell, GA 30075.
Hobbs, De Maria Ask You to Share 'Stories from NYC' to Help Get them to NYMF

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Atlanta-based actors Jeremiah Parker Hobbs and Jessica De Maria have recently launched a KickStarter to help fund their new musical THE LAST TIME WE WERE HERE's participation in the acclaimed New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF). As part of their KickStarter campaign, running through May 9th, the pair has recently begun a series of interactive videos that asks you to share your favorite story of visiting the 'City that Never Sleeps'!

The Canadian-born actress and singer recently completed a year-long run starring as Fantine in the lauded Broadway revival of Les Miserables. Levy is best known to Broadway and West End audiences for originating the roles of Molly in Ghost The Musical, and Shelia in the Tony Award-winning revival of Hair.
