Washington, Lane, Walken, et al. Set for 'Broadway Backstage: Spring Preview,' 4/17

Join WABC-TV's Michelle Charlesworth and guest co-host Tony Shaloub (starring in Broadway's LEND ME A TENOR) for a complete line-up of what's opening on the Great White Way this spring. 

They'll check out all the new shows including the dramas, comedies and musicals, which this season has everything from a night of Sinatra and dance to a rock opera from Green Day.

The A-list actors tell us about their new shows including; Denzel Washington (FENCES), Academy Award winner Christopher Walken, Emmy Award winning Kelsey Grammar (LA CAGE AUX FOLLES), and Nathan Lane (ADDAMS FAMILY). The evening will also include interviews with A BEHANDING IN SPOKANE stars Sam Rockwell, Anthony Mackie, and Zoe Kazan; EVERDAY RAPTURE's Sherie Rene Scott; FENCE's Viola Davis; LEND ME A TENOR director Stanley Tucci and cast members Anthony LaPaglia, Tony Shalhoub, and Justin Bartha; the cast of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET; Alfred Molina and Eddie Redmayne of RED, NEXT FALL cast members; and SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM's Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams, and Tom Wopat.

Also, they'll go behind the scenes at a Broadway icon - Playbill and visit a museum where the drawings of Charles Addams, creator of the Addams family, are on display.

The program will also include a feature on Playbill Magazine's 125ths anniversary with a segment on how a Playbill is made.
