The smash hit Broadway production of WEST SIDE STORY broke the box office record at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway) two weeks in a row. For the week ending December 27, 2009, WEST SIDE STORY grossed $1,366,279.74, and then broke that record the week ending January 3, 2010, grossing $1,484,854.50 over eight performances.
