A Streetcar Named Desire, starring Blair Underwood as Stanley, Nicole Ari Parker as Blanche, Daphne Rubin-Vega as Stella and Wood Harris as Mitch opened on April 22, on Broadway for a limited run through July 22, 2012. For full coverage from opening night, click here!

The company of Broadway's first-ever revival of Stephen Schwartz's rock musical GODSPELL last week welcomed a new leading man- stage and screen star Corbin Bleu (Disney's "High School Musical," Broadway's In the Heights)- to the starring role of Jesus. The 26th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition raised $3,677,855, the result of six weeks of intensive fundraising for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS by 51 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies. The grand total was announced Tuesday at this year's Easter Bonnet Competition, which ended in two shows featuring original presentations, songs, dances and 18 elaborate, custom-made bonnets. THE LYONS, which debuted last fall at the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Vineyard Theatre, officially opened April 23, at the Cort Theatre. Previews began on April 5. THE LYONS comes to Broadway with its entire original cast: Linda Lavin and Dick Latessa along withMichael Esper, Kate Jennings Grant, Brenda Pressley and Gregory Wooddell. Mark Brokaw directs. The supernatural power of love arrived on Broadway on April 24th at the Opening Night of GHOST The Musical. Featuring an original score by rock legends Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, a book by the original Oscar-winning screenwriter Bruce Joel Rubin, directed by Tony and Olivier Award winner Matthew Warchus and starring Richard Fleeshman Sam Wheat, Caissie Levy Molly Jensen, Da’Vine Joy Randolph Oda Mae Brown and Bryce Pinkham Carl Bruner. The new musical comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, with music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro, opened on April 24 at Broadway's Imperial Theatre. NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT stars two-time Tony Award-winner Matthew Broderick and three-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara and is directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall. Manhattan Theatre Club’s world premiere production of THE COLUMNIST by Tony and Pulitzer Prize winner David Auburn, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan currently opened April 25, at MTC’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. The production, which recently announced an extension, is scheduled to run through June 24, 2012. Click here for more photos from the big opening!

Center Theatre Group will soon present FOLLIES starring Victoria Clark (replacing Bernadette Peters), Jan Maxwell, Danny Burnstein, and Ron Raines. Roundabout Theatre Company in association with Damian Arnold, presents the Broadway premiere of Marc Camoletti's classic farce Don't Dress For Dinner, adapted by Robin Hawdon and directed by John Tillinger. Don't Dress For Dinner began previews on March 30 and opened last night, April 26, 2012 at the American Airlines Theatre. Check out more photos from opening night here.

LEAP OF FAITH opened on Broadway last night, April 26th, with four-time Tony nominee Raúl Esparza leading the company along with Jessica Phillips, Kendra Kassebaum, Kecia Lewis-Evans, Leslie Odom, Jr., Krystal Joy Brown and Talon Ackerman. Click here for full coverage of the opening!
