Five-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles took to Facebook earlier today to post a video of the marquis for Waitress being put up. Bareilles, who is both the musical's composer and lyricist, commented, "Words aren't big enough for this moment." She adds, "Man, is my heart singing right now."

WAITRESS, opens Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue), with previews starting on Friday, March 25, 2016. Waitress played a sold out limited engagement at the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA.

Based upon the 2007 motion picture written by Adrienne Shelly, Waitress is the first Broadway musical in history to have four women in the four top creative team spots, with book by Jessie Nelson, score by five-time Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, choreography by Lorin Latarro and direction by Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus. The production also features a female music supervisor (Nadio DiGiallonardo), costume designer (Suttirat Larlarb), technical supervisor (Hillary Blanken of Juniper Street Productions), lead producers (Fran Weissler, Elayne Herrick) and executive producer (Alecia Parker).

Waitress stars Jessie Mueller as Jenna, with Eric Anderson (Cal), Nick Cordero (Earl), Christopher Fitzgerald (Ogie), Drew Gehling (Dr. Pomatter), Kimiko Glenn (Dawn), Dakin Matthews (Joe), Keala Settle (Becky) and Charity Angél Dawson, Thay Floyd, Molly Hager, Aisha Jackson, Jeremy Morse, Ragan Pharris, Stephanie Torns and Ryan Vasquez.

Words aren't big enough for this moment. Thank you Eric Anderson for being the angel who generally captures sparkly moments and makes the world sing. Man, is my heart singing right now.
