In a recent interview with MTV News, actor Mark Wahlberg discussed his reasoning behind casting teen pop sensation Justin Bieber in an upcoming dramatic film from Paramount.  "I'm pretty intuitive," the actor explained to MTV News. "I see the guy and spent time with him and you see what he does and how he does it. And then you actually have a conversation with him and it's there. If not, I will extract it."

The film's plot is being carefully guarded, but earlier in the year Wahlberg had revealed that it will include two main characters, an 'old guy', played by himself and a 'young guy' to be portrayed by Bieber. He also shared that the theme of the movie would center around basketball. "We pitched [Paramount] the idea and, you know, we're talking about doing it. [Bieber's] been sending me video, he sent me a video of himself, and, yeah, I think hes really talented."
