The upcoming indie film, Breaking Upwards, is shaping up to be a stage star show, as Tony-winning actors Julie White, AndRea Martin and LaChanze, in addition to Peter Friedman, Olivia Thirlby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Pablo Schreiber join filmmakers Zoe Lister-Jone and her real-life boyfriend Daryl Wein in the new flick.  BroadwayWorld brings you the film's trailer below.

Lister-Jones, who has appeared on stage in The Little Dog Laughed and The Marriage of Bette and Boo, co-wrote the film with Wein and Peter Duchan, based on Lister-Jones and Wein's actual experience as a New York Couple battling codependency.

The film follows the couple, fours years into their relationship, as they decide to intricately strategize their own break up finding out that it's much more difficult to extricate themselves from one another than they expect.

Wein ("The Hebrew Hammer") also directs the film.  It was an official selection at the 2009 SXSW Film Festival, which opens in New York on April 2 and in Los Angles on April 9.
