Rover Dramawerks Presents MURDER ON WEST MOON STREET

Rover Dramawerks concludes their 18th Season with the comedy/mystery Murder on West Moon Street by Rob Urbinati. Performances will be at Rover's theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances run November 1-17 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

Young Lord Arthur (played by Sam McCalla) is deliriously happy - just down from Oxford and engaged to be married to the lovely Sybil Merton (Emily Grove) - when a mysterious palm reader (Pælor Cuihn) predicts that he will commit a murder. A proper English gentleman, Arthur believes it is his Duty to get this killing business over with before he marries. But his education has not provided him with the required skills, and a hilarious series of mishaps ensues involving, among others, his elderly aunt (Mildred Austin) and his cousin Jane (Lara Williams). His valet (Chuck E. Moore), his confidante (Carol M. Rice), and an anarchist named Herr Winckelkopf (Kelton Neals) also attempt to aid him in his desperate search for a victim. Will he succeed, or will his wedding be postponed forever? Based on the Oscar Wilde short story, "Lord Arthur Savile's Crime."

Chad Jones serves as director, with Ashly Curts Jones as stage manager. Set design is by Abby Kipp-Roberts, lighting design is by Steven Roberts, and sound design is by David Johnston. Sarah Hearn provides costume design, with props designed by Sara Jones. Kenneth Hall is light and sound board operator.

Thursday, November 1 is Preview Night, with all seats $10.00 in advance online or "pay-what-you-can" at the door. Following the show on Friday, November 2, Rover will host their First Friday INSIDERS reception, where patrons can meet the cast, director, and designers.
