Reach New Heights At Orlando Shakes' 30th Anniversary Season Gala

Orlando Shakes in partnership with UCF invites guests to celebrate the opening of their 2018-2019 Season at their 30th Anniversary Season Gala on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. The evening will feature tastings of Central Florida's finest food and beverages, as well as a silent auction and live entertainment. Remaining tickets range from $150 - $250 per person and may be purchased by calling the Box Office at (407) 447-1700 ext. 1 or in person inside the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center, 812 East Rollins Street.

The Theater's annual fundraiser will kick off with elegant food tasting stations inside the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center. Guests will enjoy music from the UCF Jazz Chamber Group featuring Jeff Rupert and a silent auction highlighting priceless experiences and exclusive packages from the area's leading businesses. Inside the Margeson Theater, patrons will gather for a thrilling live auction featuring luxurious auction items, including an incredible vacation experience at the Walt Disney World Resort, a dinner party for 100 from Arthur's Catering, and a luxurious staycation at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort.

The highlight of the evening will wow guests with a one-night-only musical showcase featuring select members of the cast of Orlando Shakes' production of In the Heights. The event will conclude with coffee, dessert, and a champagne toast.

The 30th Anniversary Season Gala is presented by Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A.. Entertainment for the event is presented by Fairwinds Credit Union. Orlando Shakes also recognizes live auction sponsor Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World and paddle raise sponsor The Melrose Foundation.
