Brian Ganz will present EXTREME CHOPIN: THE FINALE on April 11, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore, marking the culmination of a 16-year project to perform all of Frédéric Chopin’s works.

The performance will include major compositions such as the Barcarolle, Op. 60 and Berceuse, Op. 57, as well as a recently discovered Waltz in A minor, identified in 2024 at the Morgan Library in New York. The program will also feature nocturnes, mazurkas, and lesser-known works spanning Chopin’s output.

At the start of the concert, Ganz will be awarded the Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis by a representative of the Polish Embassy, a distinction recognizing contributions to Polish culture.

Ganz began his multi-year exploration of Chopin’s complete works at Strathmore in 2011. Over the course of the project, he has performed all 240 compositions, drawing critical attention for his interpretations of the composer’s repertoire.
