The York Theatre Company is currently presenting the American premiere of The Great Big Radio Show!, a 1930's style musical comedy by Philip Glassborow and Nick McIvor. The cast includes Tyler Maynard, Nancy Anderson, Lynne Wintersteller, David Staller and Seth Rudetsky. The Great Big Radio Show!, directed by David Glenn Armstrong with music direction by Ken Clifton, will play five concert performances at the Theatre at Saint Peter's, just east of Lexington on 54th Street on Friday, October 28 at 8pm, Saturday, October 29 at 2:30pm and 8pm, and Sunday, October 30 at 2:30pm and 7:30pm. Audience discussions will follow both matinees.

Radio Show takes place in 1933, in the Radio Building, New York, and the big Saturday night broadcast is just about to go on the air, live. It's the Great Big Radio Show, a weekly variety program starring Gloria Pilbeam. The only trouble is—she can't be found. Bandleader Blue Woodward has to find a replacement while the show is actually on the air... without letting the sponsor know what's going on…and in spite of some desperate hoodlums in the studio. The cast of The Great Big Radio Show! includes: Nancy Anderson (Wonderful Town, Jolson & Company, A Class Act), Robert Ari (The Constant Wife, Bells Are Ringing, The Man Who Came to Dinner), Ed Dixon (Gore Vidal's The Best Man), Wally Dunn (Gypsy, One Mo' Time), Lexy Fridell (York's Henry, Sweet Henry), Ruth Gottschall (Isabelle and the Pretty/Ugly Spell, The Music Man), Tyler Maynard (Altar Boyz, Miracle Brothers), Seth Rudetsky (Host of Seth's Broadway Chatterbox), Dan Sharkey (The Music Man), David Staller (Evita, Cabaret, original production of The Great Big Radio Show!) and Lynne Wintersteller (Closer Than Ever, Grand Night for Singing).
