DVR Alert: Rosie Perez Returns to THE VIEW Today

ABC has confirmed that Rosie Perez, who took a hiatus from her post as co-host of THE VIEW to begin rehearsals for her upcoming role in Larry David's new Broadway, Fish In the Dark, will make her return to the daytime talk show live today, February 3rd.

Perez joined THE VIEW after Barbara Walters left last summer, along with new co-hosts Rosie O'Donnell and Nicolle Wallace.

Before Fish In the Dark, which debuts this spring, Perez appeared on Broadway in THE RITZ, RECKLESS, THE PLAY WHAT I WROTE and FRANKIE AND JOHNNY IN THE CLAIR DE LUNE.

She will next appear on the big screen in FIVE NIGHTS IN MAINE and recently starred in the films FUGLY!, THE BEING EXPERIENCE, GODS BEHAVING BADLY and THE COUNSELOR. Perez has also appeared on TV in THE CLEVELAND SHOW, LIPSTICK JUNGLE and more.

Scheduled guests for the week of FEBRUARY 2-6 are as follows (subject to change):

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4 - "The View" celebrates co-host Nicolle Wallace's birthday; CRISTELA Alonzo (ABC's "Cristela") guest co-hosts; Jeff Perry (ABC's "Scandal"); Zosia Mamet ("Girls").

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 5 - CRISTELA Alonzo (ABC's "Cristela") guest co-hosts; TBD

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6 - CRISTELA Alonzo (ABC's "Cristela") guest co-hosts; Kim Cattrall ("Shakespeare Uncovered"); crafting with Rosie O'Donnell and Martha Stewart; parents Judy and Dennis Shepard with friend and film director Michele Josue share insight into the life and devastating loss of Matthew Shepard ("Matt Shepard is a Friend of Mine").

"The View" is a live, one-hour daily talk show from ABC (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET) featuring moderator Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O'Donnell, Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace. It is the original forum in which real women discuss everyday issues, share their opinions and engage in colorful conversations. "The View," broadcast in HDTV and produced in 2-channel stereo sound, is now available to watch online daily at 4:00 p.m., ET/1:00 p.m., PT on ABC.com. "The View" is owned and produced by ABC.
