How To
Be Perfect, a tongue-in-cheek musical guide to succeeding and failing
in the minefield of love. The duo performed eight sold-out shows at Don't Tell
Mama during October and November, and are thrilled to add six more shows, "by
popular demand!" With their patented brand of character duets and a satirical
take on contemporary 'self-help gurus,' O'Connor & Vogel have created
another mini-musical comedy with songs including "You're The Boss"
(Leiber/Stoller), "Talk To Me Baby" (Dolan/Mercer), "Therapy" (Larson),
"Economics" (Lerner/Weill) and "Nobody's Perfect" (Schmidt/Jones). How To Be
Perfect
also reunites O'Connor & Vogel with the Director and Musical Director of
Guy &
Doll,
Elfin Frederick and Darryl Curry. Musical staging is by Nora
Brown.
