DICKHEAD, a bold new play by Dave Cash, is set for its debut run April 14-17 at The Paradise Factory. Set in a boxing ring with play-by-play commentary by a team of sports announcers, DICKHEAD presents an unflinching and irreverent look into the inner workings of one man's mind as he battles the demons of his inner addictions --- personified by his three anthropomor- phic penises: Ego Penis, Mouth Penis and Penis Penis.

Confronting sexuality, shame and family issues, DICKHEAD shocks in its refusal to avert its eyes - and ours - while revealing the humor of the human condition as we relate to Dave's epic struggle. The main character Dave, played by playwright Dave Cash, is surrounded by a cast of 10 actors playing a range of characters from ring announcer Michael Fluffer to Mary Magdalene to Satan.

According to playwright Dave Cash, a writer/actor who grew up in Manhattan, "DICKHEAD is about the self judgment that many of us face but refuse to talk about - shame about our bodies, emotions, sexuality, private parts. At the same time, I wanted to laugh at myself and lighten up on the road to forgiveness."

Cast: Dave Cash, playwright, actor; Angela Atwood*; Tatiana Dellepiane; Michael Hurst; Freddy Lomeli; Danitra Luers; Sotonye Ogan; James Penfold; and Paul Wallace.

Crew: Dave Rigo, director; Danitra Luers, stage manager; Willie Groom, set designer; Derek Wright, lighting designer; Nathan Shapiro, sound designer; Priya Bond, production assistant; Natalia Ortonowska, costumer
