Murphy Wins Humanitas Prize for GLEE

According to Deadline.com, Glee, Modern Family, The Good Wife, Nurse Jackie, and Temple Grandin were all recipients of Humanitas Prizes, which were awarded today in Beverly Hills.  The prizes are meant to recognize writers whose work "entertain, engage and enrich the viewing public."

Winners included: Geoffrey Fletcher for Precious, Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd for the Modern Family, Liz Brixius, Linda Wallem and Evan Dunsky for Nurse Jackie. Glee creator Ryan Murphy won for his Wheels episode, and Robert and Michelle King won for The Good Wife.
