On Monday, April 6th, Dancers Over 40 presents an evening with dancers and creative talents who worked with director/choreographer Michael Kidd at St. Luke's Theater, 308 West 46th Street. Carol Lawrence will host and director/choreographer/ dancer Grover Dale will moderate the evening's panels, which will highlight Kidd's Broadway and Hollywood years. Special guest, Shelah Hackett Kidd will be on hand to talk about her Broadway and movie years - and her husband, Michael.

There will be a mini-reunion of the original 1954 movie cast of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, with actress/singer Jane Powell along with Brides, Norma Doggett Bezwick and Virginia Gibson.

Featured from Kidd's Broadway shows will be Carolyn Kirsch, Teak Lewis, Judy Dunford, all from Breakfast at Tiffany's, Shirley Nelson Holst and Teak Lewis from Destry Rides Again, and Iva Withers from the original Guys and Dolls (1950)!

This will be an evening of reminiscence and joy, celebrating the History, the Legacy and the Lives of the dancers of Michael Kidd and honoring his contribution to the world of dance. Dancers Over 40 will donate a video of the evening's event to the Jerome Robbins Dance Collection at the Lincoln Center Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.

Tickets are $35.00.
