Kerry Butler to Host Workshop & Perform at Riverside Theatre's DARE TO DREAM JR.

Riverside Theatre will present Dare to Dream JR., a musical revue performed by the talented young artists of Riverside’s Youth Program.

Filled with beloved songs and stories from classic and contemporary Disney productions, this uplifting production celebrates courage, imagination, and the power of believing in yourself. Dare to Dream, JR. will be performed on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 6:30pm. 

Dare to Dream JR. takes audiences on a musical journey through some of Disney’s most cherished moments, featuring songs that have inspired generations. Through themes of hope, friendship, determination, and following your dreams, the show highlights the incredible abilities of Riverside Theatre’s young performers while delivering fun for the whole family.

In addition to the performance, acclaimed Broadway star Kerry Butler will lead a special workshop with the cast of Dare to Dream JR., offering young performers an unforgettable opportunity to learn from one of Broadway’s brightest stars.

Known for her celebrated performances in Broadway hits including Kerry Butler’s starring roles in Beetlejuice, Mean Girls, Hairspray, and Xanadu, Ms. Butler brings a wealth of experience, talent, and inspiration to Riverside Theatre’s Youth Program. During the workshop, cast members will work directly with her on performance techniques, storytelling, stage presence, and the joy of bringing characters to life.

Ms. Butler will also perform some solo selections during the evening and join the cast for a special featured number.
