On the heels of the successful Madonna episode of GLEE, might a Britney Spears-inspired episode be in the works? As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Britney's manager Adam Leber took to Twitter with the idea.

"Leber took to his Twitter, using Britney's name @Britney Spears, and asked his followers, "Do you guys want to see a Britney Spears episode of GLEE?"" It is noted that he tried making it a trending topic on Twitter, writing, "#BritneySpearsGLEE."

Today, it has been revealed that GLEE creator Ryan Murphy is in talks with the pop superstar to fashion a Britney-inspired episode. At the USA Today's luncheon, Murphy told USA Today's Andrea Mandell: "We love Britney, we're talking to Britney. I think you have to be very careful on the show not to do too many tribute episodes. but she certainly has a huge body of work to pull from and the kids grew up with her so that is a consideration, they love her. "
