According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, GLEE creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed that the show will be doing a Moulin Rouge tribute episode.

From director Baz Luhrmann, the movie Moulin Rouge was released in 2001 and starred Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. It tells the story of a poet who falls for a beautiful courtesan whom a jealous duke covets in this stylish musical, with music drawn from familiar 20th century artists. 

Songs sung in the film include, "Nature Boy", "Lady Marmalade", "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend", "Material Girl", "One Day I'll Fly Away", "Elephant Love Medley", "Like a Virgin", "Come What May", "The Show Must Go On" and more.

GLEE's cast on FOX includes Matthew Morrison as Will Schuester; Jane Lynch as Sue Sylvester; Lea Michele as Rachel Berry; Chris Colfer as Kurt; Kevin McHale as Artie; Amber Riley as Mercedes; Mark Salling as Puck; Jenna Ushkowitz as Tina; Naya Rivera as SantAna Lopez; Heather Morris as Brittany; Darren Criss as Blaine Anderson; Chord Overstreet as Sam Evans; Mike O’Malley as Burt Hummel.

GLEE is a musical comedy about a group of eager and ambitious students who strive to outshine their singing competition to win Nationals while navigating the cruel halls of McKinley High.
