The complete casting and U.S. touring schedule for the eagerly anticipated national tour of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? -- starring Kathleen Turner and Bill Irwin -- has been announced by the play's producers.

Irwin (The Goat, Largely New York) and Turner (The Graduate, Indiscretions) -- who will reprise their starring roles as George and Martha in the widely acclaimed, recent Broadway and London productions of Albee's beloved classic -- will be joined by Kathleen Early as Honey and David Furr as Nick in the play.  The production is directed by Anthony Page.

Chicago has joined the list of cities where the "Woolf" tour will now play.

The five-month, five-city tour of the show will begin January 4, 2007 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and continue on through May with stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco and Tucson.

The Broadway production received six 2005 Tony Award nominations, including Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Revival of a Play and Best Costume Design. In addition to the Tony Award to Irwin in 2005, Edward Albee received a Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the theatre.  Turner and Irwin also received accolades for reprising their roles in the London transfer of the revival.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? has stood at the cornerstone of Edward Albee's career since the play became an overnight sensation in 1961, and won the playwright his first Tony Award.

Furr portrayed Nick in the Broadway engagement of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. He recently received critical acclaim for his performance in Denver Center Theater Company's production of All My Sons, winning a Henry Award for supporting actor in a play.

Early portrayed Girl in the Off-Broadway production of Albee's The Play About the Baby.  Early has toured nationally as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, and originated roles for tours by TheatreWorks/USA.

The play features set design by John Lee Beatty, costume design by Jane Greenwood, lighting design by Peter Kaczorowski and sound design by Mark Bennett & Michael Creason.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is produced by Elizabeth Ireland McCann, Daryl Roth, Scott Rudin, Terry Allen Kramer, Roger Berlind, James L. Nederlander and Nick Simunek.  Joey Parnes serves as the Executive Producer.
