Jack Plotnick shares the techniques he has discovered over the years that will help you release the mental blocks that keep you from being the best you can be.

We can provide an audition scene for you to do, or you may bring any material you are currently working on. A short monologue will also work just fine.

Feel free to bring friends! (Must have previous formal training.)

Here's what some past workshop attendees have to say:

"Jack completely unlocked what was locked in me. I used to dread auditions, but now I have a great time. I seriously couldn't have done it without him. His words of wisdom are always with me." – Alyson Hannigan (AMERICAN PIE Movies, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER)

"You don't leave Jack's workshop just knowing your material better, you leave understanding and trusting yourself better. I now go into auditions confident in my approach and comfortable in my character's skin." - Steve Mallory (THE JOE SCHMO SHOW II, RENO 911, I'M WITH BUSEY)

"Jack is a master of human behavior and psyche. The depth of his knowledge is invaluable, and his ability to articulate it is a gift." – Kali Rocha (MEET THE PARENTS, BUFFY, WHITE OLEANDER, GODS AND GENERALS)

"Working with Jack, your auditions become easier, more fun, and most importantly, more effective. Coupled with a healthy philosophy toward acting and life, his approach will help free you from the pressure that so many actors associate with looking for work." - Jeremy Johnson (ALL MY CHILDREN, SHAKESPEARE'S R&J Off-Broadway)

Jack Plotnick has spent the last decade as a working actor in Los Angeles. In film, he has appeared opposite Ben Stiller in MEET THE FOCKERS, Ian McKellen in GODS AND MONSTERS, Renee Zelwegger in DOWN WITH LOVE, and Sally Field in SAY IT ISN'T SO. A regular on the FOX show ACTION, he has had recurring roles on BUFFY, ELLEN, RENO 911 and RUDE AWAKENINGS. His dramatic roles include NYPD BLUE and DAWSON'S CREEK. Jack recently produced and starred in the feature film GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS, released by IFC Films. Along with his two co-stars, he has won 2003's BEST ACTOR AWARDS from LA's OUTFEST Film Festival and the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. He is currently a series regular on DRAWN TOGETHER, and recurring on JOAN OF ARCADIA.
