Episcopal Actors Guild Celebrates 90th Anniversary with Gala Tonight

The Episcopal Actors' Guild will celebrate its 90th Anniversary tonight, October 6th with the presentation of 90 YEARS OF BROADWAY: EAG's Theatrical Journey, an original musical revue highlighting the organization's unique and important history. The benefit will take place at the Grand Ballroom of the New York Open Centerat 22 East 30th Street, NYC.

Hosted by Jim Dale [Tony Award winner, BARNUM, Carry On, American Theater Hall of Fame], the benefit will also star star Anna Bergman [Kennedy Center's Sondheim Celebration], Jennifer Fouche [SISTAS: The Musical, Smash], Carol Lawrence [Tony Award nominee, WEST SIDE STORY, KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN], Heather Mac Rae [HAIR, A CATERED AFFAIR], Ellyn Marie Marsh [KINKY BOORS, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT], Marni Nixon [The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, West Side Story], Tonya Pinkins[Tony Award winner, CAROLINE, OR CHANCE, JELLY'S LAST JAM], Lee Roy Reams [42nd STREET, THE PRODUCERS], Sarah Rice [SWEENEY TODD, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC], Jana Robbins [GYPSY, CRIMES OF THE HEART], Alicia Sable [GYPSY, Alpha House], Jane Summerhays [A CHORUS LINE, CABARET], Walter Willison [Tony Award nominee, PIPPIN, GRAND HOTEL]. Written by Fran Hangman [ Pucelandia, Polka Dot Door] with Musical Direction by Mark York [Ziegfeld Society President, JUST JIM].

Festivities will include a cocktail party at 7 pm with the performance at 8 PM.

The Guild is housed at The Little Church Around The Corner at 1 East 29th Street. The Episcopal Actors Guilds has helped so many performers in their time of great need...especially financial need.

All proceeds raised at this event will go directly to helping local performers in need. Cocktail Reception 7pm, Show at 8pm.
