New one-act plays by Adam Rapp, Amy Fox, and J. Holtham will be featured at an April 8th fundraiser for Ensemble Studio Theatre's Young Director's Program. The evening will also include a silent auction with items donated by theatre world stars such as Christopher Shinn and Tony Kushner.

"The Gang of Four, as EST's resident directors are commonly referred to, is comprised of four early-career theatre directors who demonstrate the extraordinary dual promise of artistic vision and professional tenacity. Over the course of an entire season, the directors are given the unique opportunity to take a hands-on role within the theatre. The Gang's responsibilities cover a wide range of projects: from literary management, to mentoring interns, to helming plays penned by EST's critically acclaimed young playwrights," press notes state. Directors this year include Andrew Bergh, Andre Ford, Destiny Lilly, and Justin Quinn Pelegano.

The fundraiser will take place on the EST Main Stage, Sunday, April 8th at 7pm. All tickets $20 and available at the door only.  For reservations, call 212-247-4982 ext. 16. Seating is limited.  Ensemble Studio Theatre is located at 549 W. 52nd Street.
