Danieley, Plimpton, Etc. to Join Lipton for 'Uncharted'

Direct from his onstage performance in new Off-Broadway after hours improv comedy revue Don't Quit Your Night Job at HA! Comedy Club (63 West 46th Street at 7th Avenue), Dan Lipton, songwriter, arranger and ace keyboard player will present his evening of music and song, "Uncharted: Dan Lipton" at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street at 10th Avenue) for one-night only, Sunday, June 3rd at 10:00 p.m.

Joining Lipton onstage for this late night concert will be Chicago jazz singer Colby Beserra, Broadway vocalist Jason Danieley (Curtains), Brazilian jazz guitarist Eliane, actress Martha Plimpton (The Coast of Utopia), fellow Don't Quit Your Night Job creator Steve Rosen with Ars Nova favorites TastiSkank (comprised of Broadway's Kate Reinders and Sarah Litzsinger) and actor Clarke Thorell.

"Dan Lipton is a musical chameleon whose work bridges pop music, film scoring, and theatrical projects. He is one of the creators and resident music director of the He just completed the marathon Broadway run of The Coast Of Utopia at Lincoln Center, where he appeared onstage playing piano," according to press notes.

"His eclectic songwriting has earned 4 ASCAPlus Awards for Popular Music.  Lipton has released 3 albums of genre-hopping music, and it is from this catalog of original material that he will build his performance at Ars Nova.  The concert will feature songs he has written with various collaborators: Gavin Creel, Brian D'Arcy James, Sloan Just, Celia Keenan-Bolger and David Rossmer."
