The OBIE, Drama Desk and Lortel Award-winning Classical Theatre of Harlem (CTH) and Harlem Stage present Trojan Women, adapted and directed by Alfred Preisser. Presented as part of the Harlem Stage Partners Program, this is the first collaboration between the two Harlem-based theaters.

"Is there any truth to the Greek concept of tragedy, in which cycles of order and disorder are governed by fate? Are we somehow complicit in the disintegration and violence that is always happening somewhere else? This radical re-envisioning of the Greek classic, set in the imagined wreckage of Penn Station, integrates testimony from survivors of recent civil wars in Sierra Leone and Liberia and asks just that," explain press notes.
