Cast Set For THE MAN IN THE IRON MASK NYC Industry Workshop

The cast has been revealed for the upcoming reading of The Man in the Iron Mask. This new musical based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas and the enduring French legend will receive a private industry workshop and table reading in Manhattan on July 18.

The new original musical is written by Austin Cappetta. The cast will include James C. Harris as Philippe, Darrel Blackburn as Porthos, Zachary Mackiewicz as King Louis XIV, Elizabeth Mandell as Maria Theresa, Sean Kenin Elias-Reyes as Aramis, Zachary Kropp as D'Artagnan, Sarah Mossman as Queen Anne, Hugh Hysell as Fouquet, Jeff Essex as Athos, Nicolette Boillotat as Louise de La Vallière, Justin McArthur as Colbert, and Jared Ritter as Raoul.

The story follows a forgotten prisoner named Philippe, whose face is concealed behind a grievous iron mask. When the aging Three Musketeers uncover that he is the secret twin of Louis XIV, they risk everything on a desperate, bloodless gamble: to replace the tyrant king with the brother he has condemned to darkness.
