Bowie & Walsh's Off-Broadway Hit LAZARUS Switches to Digital Lottery

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) and TodayTix, the theater ticket app, announced today a CheapTix mobile lottery for Lazarus by David Bowie and Enda Walsh (Once, Tony Award), BroadwayWorld has learned. To increase access to tickets, this TodayTix program will replace the previously announced in-person lottery and will offer $25 tickets to the fastest selling show in NYTW history.

Inspired by the novel The Man Who Fell to Earth by Walter Tevis and directed by Ivo van Hove (Hedda Gabler, More Stately Mansions, Obie Awards), LAZARUS began previews on November 18 and officially opened December 7, 2015 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003) for a limited run now through Wednesday, January 20, 2016.

TodayTix allows you to enter the mobile lottery via the app, available in the App Store or Google Play Store. Winners will be offered the opportunity to purchase $25 tickets, and can pick up their tickets at the NYTW box office beginning one hour prior to curtain. Lottery tickets and seat locations are subject to availability.
