A preliminary peek behind the scenes of the currently in-production new HBO dramatic series LOOKING starring Broadway headliner and popular TV/film crossover star Jonathan Groff has now been released.

The cast and crew of LOOKING were spotting shooting in San Francisco earlier this month and footage of the on location action is now available.

The eight-episode order first season of the drama series stars Jonathan Groff and Russell Tovey, also featuring Scott Bakula in a recurring role, centering upon the lives of several gay men in contemporary San Francisco.

LOOKING was created by Michael Lannan and the pilot was directed by Andrew Haigh, the latter noted for the similarly unadorned and modern love-themed WEEKEND, also showcasing a gay central theme.

LOOKING is set to premiere in 2014. No official premiere date has yet been announced by HBO.

Of note, the cast and crew have been spotted shooting around San Francisco last month, with social media updates Being posted continually, as covered in today's other look at LOOKING, available here.
