Alex DeCastro and Laurissa Romain return to sing and support The 12th Annual Broadway Comes to Yonkers Benefit Concert is this Monday, April 6th at 7pm to benefit Youth Theater Interactions (YTI). http://www.youth-theatre.org/

This year's performers include: Fredi-Walker Browne,(RENT) and her Kids Choir; Joshua Colley (Les Mis, Newsies); Laurissa Romain (South Pacific, Top Five); Alex DeCastro (The Lion King, The Color Purple);Joel Karie (The Lion King); Michael Nigro (Sound of Music LIVE); Luca Padovan (Newsies); Rebecca Larkin (South Pacific, Avenue Q);Janice Marie Singleton (The Wiz); Tim Realbuto (The Emperors Club, Sopranos); Erica Philpot (Singer); Brianna Paolino (Singer/Songwriter), Maya Lisbin (Opera Singer/Yonkers Idol Winner); Nhyira Johnson (Dancer, YTI Alum); Hillary Marie-Michael (Tap Dancer); Yolanda F. Johnson,(Opera Singer, YTI Alum); Special Guests performing Dance Solos, Jade Cloud and Haley Hueselman (Dance Moms).

Broadway Comes to Yonkers is Presented by YTI Executive/Artistic Director, Donise Lyons and Secretary to the YTI's Board of Directors, Chelsea P. Freeman. Broadway Comes to Yonkers was created by previous Executive Director Maime Duncan-Gibbs (Chicago, Jelly's Last Jam, Cats, Kiss Me Kate) to help benefit Youth Theatre Interactions, Inc., a not-for-profit performing arts school located in Yonkers, NY, the annual event is now in its 12th successful year.

Past performers include Tony Award winner LaChanze,Aisha de Haas, Marty Thomas, Jimmy Tate, Ben Cameron, Gayle Samuels, Sue Delano, Ty Stephens, Mary Claire Miskell,Michael Demby-Cain, Diana Brownstone, and many more. The concert will take place on Monday, April 6th at 7:00 PM at the Yonkers Riverfront Library (1 Larkin Center, Yonkers, NY) with a reception to follow at Zuppa Restaurant.
