STAGE TUBE: First Look at PURCHASE OF MANHATTAN Opera at the Marble Collegiate Church in NYC

Lenape Center proudly hosts the New York City premiere of the Purchase of Manhattan concert opera at Marble Collegiate Church, as part of our yearlong Diversity Series, with the support of the Collegiate Churches of New York and Intersections International.

Check out the clip from the "Purchase of Manhattan" concert opera held November 20 at the Marble Collegiate Church in New York City. This scene depicts the arrival of the Dutch. Purchase of Manhattan, a new concert opera commissioned by the Lenape Center, sings- to- life New York's hidden beginning, from the perspective of the Lenape, Manhattan's first native peoples.

In recognition of the original deal struck for the purchase of Manhattan, tickets for the opera are $24. There is a special group rate available for group sales of 10 or more ($15 per ticket = 38% discount!).
