The Quest Theatre Company in Los Angeles lost their Artistic Director and CEO, as they announced the tragic passing of Jim Alexander, due to sudden heart failure, over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Alexander had served as Producing Artistic Director for Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Director of Public Relations and Marketing for Music Theatre Santa Barbara, Resident Director and Assistant Director of Education for Florida Studio Theatre, Resident Director for Riverside Civic Light Opera, Production Stage Manager for Southampton Playhouse, Stage Manager for the 1994 national tour of La Cage Aux Folles and Instructor of Theatre Arts for Riverside Community College.

Along with his behind-the-scenes work, Alexander performed in over 150 professional productions around the world, including Broadway's Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby and a national tour of Godspell.  He was an accomplished actor, director and choreographer, for which he won numerous awards.

Alexander leaves behind his wife, Broadway actress Cindy Robinson.  A memorial was held in his honor May 28 at The Eclectic Company Theatre in North Hollywood.
