Kliffer Entertainment is showcasing a new style of improvised musical with a performance of "One Night Only: The Greatest Musical Never Written" tonight, September 25, 2015, 8 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., including a ten-minute intermission, at Factory Theatre. "One Night Only" combines improvisation, comedy and musical theatre. This is a sneak peek of the two-act fully improvised musical in advance of its premiere in Toronto February 10 - 14, 2016, in the Factory Theatre Mainspace, 125 Bathurst Street, Toronto. Advance tickets to the showcase are $20 per person, available at www.madeupmusical.com.

"One Night Only" begins with the cast asking the audience for a location and a problem. These suggestions are the inspiration for what becomes each night's unique storyline. The show also incorporates improvised music by a six-piece orchestra and pit singers and spontaneous set, lighting and sound design.

The cast are accomplished performers from Second City and our musicians are the best in the business. As a result, it really feels like the audience and the cast are on a journey together. It is both spontaneous and precise which creates a magical effect. Audiences leave in a state of awe, often asking, "How did they do that?"- Alan Kliffer, Director/Creator

The cast of "One Night Only: The Greatest Musical Never Written" includes Canadian improvisers Kevin Matviw (Narrator), Ashley Botting (Ingénue), Kevin Vidal (Romantic Lead), Reid Janisse (Villain), Carly Heffernan (Ensemble) and Kris Siddiqi (Ensemble). Music direction is by Jordan Armstrong (piano). She orchestrates the improvising musicians Lee Cohen (guitar), David Stein (electric bass), Ewan Divitt (horns), Melissa Moore (flute), Justin Han (percussion) and pit singers Miriam Drysdale and Kevin Forestell. Kevin Matviw is also the show's Stage Manager & Assistant Director.

The workshop performance on September 25 includes opportunity for audience feedback in a post-show talkback with the director and cast members. Comments may also be left at www.madeupmusical.com.
