Creative Loafing's annual Holiday Auction is back for its eighth year of holiday cheer from today, November 17th, through Sunday, December 18th. During the auction, readers will get a unique opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind items and experiences. All proceeds benefit local Tampa Bay area non-profit The Children's Home.

Over the past seven years, CL has raised more than $120,000 for The Children's Home-a haven for abused and neglected children and a resource for families throughout Tampa Bay. The CL Holiday Auction allows readers to bid on one-of-a-kind items and packages, not typically available for purchase anywhere else, donated by businesses and key players throughout Tampa Bay and curated by the editors of Creative Loafing.

Today, November 17th, CL released the annual Holiday Issue-featuring an extensive catalog of the items in this year's auction-and opened up bidding. Auction items will be released in weekly batches from November 17th through December 18th.

In years past, readers have bid on everything from a private, six-course chef's dinner to a year's worth of concert tickets at popular Ybor City venues to the most contested prize of all-the cover of Creative Loafing itself. Bidders can expect the same level of exciting and unique items in the 2016 Holiday Auction.

2016 Holiday Auction Schedule:
Week 1: Thursday, Nov. 17th through Sunday, Nov. 27th
Week 2: Thursday, Nov. 24th through Sunday, Dec. 4th
Week 3: Thursday, Dec. 1st through Sunday, Dec. 11th
Week 4: Thursday, Dec. 8th through Sunday, Dec. 18th

Bidders do not need to be local to Tampa Bay to bid. To start bidding, visit cltampa.com/holidayauction and RSVP to the digital event here.
