Witness the legendary music and imagery from the animated films, Fantasia and Fantasia 2000, with Disney Fantasia Live in Concert, performed by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Wednesday, March 9th at 8:00pm.

Iconic moments from Disney's spectacular footage, such as Mickey Mouse as he dabbles in magic during Paul Dukas' "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" and the fabled unicorns and winged horses that complement Ludwig van Beethoven's "'Pastoral' Symphony", will be displayed on the backdrop. The breathtaking score is brought to life by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, established in 1993 by trumpet player Jan Hasenöhrl. Conducting the orchestra is Ted Sperling, a multi-faceted artist and conductor who, in 2005, won a Tony Award for his orchestrations of The Light in the Piazza.

Don't miss out on the sensational combination of film and music as Disney Fantasia Live in Concert comes to the Van Wezel!

Tickets are $15-$80 and are available at VanWezel.org, the Box Office, or by calling 941-953-3368.
