This weekend, May 3, 4, and 5, Lyrics & Lyricists pays tribute to Fanny with Ziegfeld Girl: The Many Faces of Fanny Brice, a night of songs she put on the Broadway map, led by artistic director Ted Sperling, music director of the smash 2008 Broadway revival of South Pacific. Vocalists Capathia Jenkins, Leslie Kritzer, Faith Prince and Clarke Thorell sing classics like 'Second Hand Rose' and 'My Man'-as well as songs she inspired in Funny Girl. (more...)

This year, degrees were awarded to 357 graduates from the School's graduate and under­graduate programs who come from 46 states and more than 40 countries. It's time for a romp through the trailer park world of Central Florida. Join Pierrot Productions for 'The Great American Trailer Park Musical' at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC) Kelsey Theatre. Dates and show times for this hilarious send-up of trailer park culture are Fridays, tonight, May 16 and the 23rd at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, May 17 and 24 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, May 18 and 25 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. This was my first journey to Armadillo Acres and I find the community and its residents hard to aptly describe. Suffice it to say, Betsy Kelso and David Nehls wrote a campy musical melodrama with comedy broader than a double-wide, a plot lighter than an aluminum lawn chair, and stereotypes bolder than a flock of pink flamingos. To my admiration, Director/Choreographer, Courtney Oliver, Music Director, Renee Kemper and seven highly-talented performers, have managed to spin this rather flimsy material into solid, non-stop, over-the-top fun. Michael Moeller Productions Presents 'Lullaby of Broadway' to Benefit Peace Valley Holistic Center of Chalfont, PA

Michael Moeller Productions will present the first show in a new "Theatre for a Cause" series when the musical revue, Lullaby of Broadway is presented in February. Set for 6 performances, Lullaby of Broadway will be presented at the Central Bucks Senior Center located at 700 N. Shady Retreat Rd. in Doylestown, PA. The production will be performed on Friday, February 14 at 8 pm, Saturday, February 15 at 8 pm and Sunday, February 16 at 2 pm. A second weekend of performances is scheduled for February 21 and 22 at 8 pm and February 23 at 2 pm. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will be donated to the Peace Valley Holistic Center of Chalfont, PA and their ongoing programs. (more...)
