The Wedding Singer The Musical Comedy, based on the 1998 Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore film, will open on January 27 and run until February 26 at The Gateway in Bellport.
Boston Baroque concludes its 50th season with two programs in March and April. First, Boston Baroque presents two works by Mozart—his “Jupiter” Symphony No. 41 and the Sinfonia concertante featuring soloists Christina Day Martinson, violin, and Jason Fisher, viola. Finally, the season comes to a close with a new production of Gluck's opera Iphigénie en Tauride starring Wendy Bryn Harmer, William Burden, and Jesse Blumberg.
While the series' recurring cast includes Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, Donnie Wahlberg, and more, guest stars have included Audra McDonald, Kelli O'Hara, Joanna Gleason, Adrienne Warren, Jinkx Monsoon, Norm Lewis, Norbert Leo Butz, and more. Identical is based on the novel ‘The Parent Trap’ by Erich Kästner, which inspired the Disney films featuring Hayley Mills in 1961 and Lindsay Lohan in 1998.
