The Guild of Music Supervisors held its landmark 10th annual award ceremony this evening at The Wiltern in Los Angeles celebrating outstanding achievement in the craft of Music Supervision in movies, television, games, advertising, and trailers. Over 1,000 attendees joined the Guild to honor the 31 crafts makers, who were recognized for their stellar musical accomplishments in 2019. Industry music legends Burt Bacharach and Bob Hunka crowned the evening as Bacharach received this year's Icon Award, and Hunka received the prestigious Legacy Award. The complete winners list for the 10thAnnual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards is listed below.

A Soldier's Play is officially in previews on Broadway! A Soldier's Play opens officially on January 21, 2020. This is a limited engagement at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). It stars David Alan Grier, Blair Underwood, Nnamdi Asomugha, Jerry O'Connell, McKinley Belcher III, Rob Demery, Jared Grimes, Billy Eugene Jones, Nate Mann, Warner Miller, J. Greg Silverman's Stampede announced today that Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (THE CURRENT WAR: DIRECTOR'S CUT, ME AND EARL AND THE DYING GIRL) will direct the feature film NEWSFLASH.  Chris Pine (WONDER WOMAN 1984; HELL OR HIGH WATER; STAR TREK) is confirmed to star as Walter Cronkite. Production will begin in February 2020 in New York City.
